 *Bangladesh Clinch Historic T20I Series Win Over Pakistan in Dhaka*


Bangladesh made history on Tuesday by securing their *first-ever T20I series win over Pakistan*, edging out an *8-run victory* in the second match in Dhaka.


Batting first, Bangladesh recovered from a poor start thanks to *Jaker Ali’s solid 55 off 48 balls*, helping the team post *133 all out in 20 overs*. *Mahedi Hasan* supported with a quick 33. Pakistan’s *Salman Mirza* and debutant *Ahmed Daniyal* took two wickets each.


Pakistan’s reply began disastrously, with *five wickets falling for just 15 runs* in the first five overs. *Shoriful Islam* starred with career-best T20I figures of *3 for 17*. Despite a spirited 32-ball *51 from Faheem Ashraf*, and Daniyal’s late fireworks, Pakistan fell short at *125 all out*.


The series win gives Bangladesh a *2-0 unassailable lead*, with the final match set for Thursday. Skipper *Litton Das* praised his team’s all-round effort, celebrating their second consecutive T20I series win following a 2-1 triumph in Sri Lanka. Pakistan captain *Salman Agha* admitted poor batting cost them the game.
